EASE(East Asia Student Encounter)

The East Asia Student Encounter (EASE) is an annual summer seminar held with student participants from Kwansei Gakuin University and its sister university in Indonesia, Satya Wacana Christian University. With the 36th seminar scheduled for the summer of 2012, the EASE program is has the longest history of all the international programs offered at Kwansei Gakuin University.
The purpose of the seminar is to allow students from Japan and Indonesia to join together to study Asia-Pacific and world problems, deepen mutual understanding, gain an international outlook as people of Asia, and grow into the leaders responsible for the future of both countries and international society. EASE 2013 will be held in Indonesia for a two-week period. Through preparation, studies, field trips, and everyday life together, the students learn much about one another. The program allows them also to experience mutual sympathy and friendship.
